PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS BEFORE SELECTING ANY SERVICE
General Eligibility
• Banned breeds are not accepted.
• Only small to medium breeds are accepted for boarding.
• No dogs with a history of aggression or aggressive tendencies.
• We do not accept dogs with:
Separation anxiety (e.g., barking, howling, or inability to be left alone).
Inability to sleep in a separate room from their owner.
Potential/history of destructive tendencies or a history (chewing, scratching, burrowing).
• Dogs must be:
Well-socialised and have good recall.
Toilet-trained.
Clean and groomed on arrival, with a maintained coat and trimmed nails.
• Personal items (beds, blankets, etc.) must be clean upon arrival (boarding only).
• Dogs must not excessively scent-mark or dominate.
• Un-castrated males over 1 year old are not accepted, including chemically castrated dogs.
• Dogs attending other daycare or boarding facilities are not accepted.
• Female dogs must not be in season.
Trial Sessions
All services are subject to a successful trial:
• Daycare: 2-hour trial.
• Boarding: Daycare plus overnight trial (charged at the standard rate, subject to availability).
Health Requirements
• Dogs must be healthy, free from illness, and up to date with flea, worm, and vaccination treatments.
Feeding
• We do not cook or prepare fresh food. Please provide the correct quantity for your dog’s stay in labeled containers.
• Food/water bowls and toys are not needed (except for slow feeders).
Daycare
• Pick-Up & Drop-Off: Monday to Friday only (closed on public/festive holidays).
• Drop-Off: 8:15 AM - 9:20 AM only.
• Pick-Up: 4:30 PM - 5:20 PM only.
•. To ensure all dogs in our care have the best experience, we cannot accept daycare arrivals later than 9.30am (gate close). Any missed days due to late arrivals cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
• Communication with owners will only be between the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday). Outside of these hours, messages will be addressed the next working day unless in an emergency.
Cancellations & Amendments
• Clients can amend bookings via the Collar app with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Due to limited availability, cancellations within 48 hours may not be transferable. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations on a subscription plan.
• If Stock Dogs cannot provide the agreed service, we will give 48 hours’ notice where possible.
During July and August (and school holidays i.e Easter) - subscripted daycare booking's cannot be rescheduled.
Subscription Cancellations - Stock Dogs require 30 days notice for cancellation of a daycare subscription.
Boarding
Boarding is exclusively available to regular daycare guests ONLY.
For the wellbeing of all dogs and to help us manage schedules smoothly, boarding dates cannot be changed once booked. We strongly advise you not to book your holiday/plans until your dog’s boarding dates have been confirmed by us.
• We are unable to accept larger dogs – only small and medium breeds will be considered. Please don’t feel we are being selective or unfair – this is purely due to space and safety limitations. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dogs weighing more than 13kg.
• All new dogs must complete a successful overnight trial and must be crate trained to be eligible for boarding.
• Dogs must not display scenting behaviours (e.g., marking indoors).
• We cannot accept dogs who suffer from separation anxiety or display destructive behaviours.
• All dogs stay downstairs within our home – we do not use kennels or outbuildings.
• There is a maximum of 5 dogs per stay within our home to maintain a calm, safe environment.
• During school holidays and busy periods, bookings are for a minimum of 7 days, with drop-off and pick-up strictly on Saturday mornings only.
• For all other periods outside school holidays, there is a minimum stay of 2 nights (Monday to Friday), or 3 nights if drop-off is on a Friday with collection on Monday morning.
• All available boarding dates can be viewed and must be requested and booked exclusively through the Collar App. We do not accept booking via call, text or email.
•. Boarding is only available to dogs who have attending Daycare with us for a minimum of 3 months and is subject to trial, T&C's and availability.
• Communication is available 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday). No updates (e.g., photos) will be shared on weekends unless in an emergency.
Health Disclaimer
• If a dog is scheduled to stay with us while recovering from an injury, illness, or medical procedure (if we choose to accept them), the owner must sign a Health Disclaimer Form prior to their stay. This form acknowledges the owners consent and responsibility for any potential risks associated with the dogs condition during their time at Stock Dogs.
Veterinary Care
• In the unlikely event of illness or injury, your dog will be taken to their registered vet or Stock Dogs’ registered practice (House & Jackson, Billericay).
• Stock Dogs will not be financially responsible for any vet costs or treatments, therefore we strongly advise owners to have their own pet insurance in place.
Post-Departure Liability
• Once a dog departs from Stock Dogs, (applicable to daycare & boarding) we are not responsible for any injury or illness that may potentially have been caused during their time in our care. Any concerns should be addressed at time of departure.
