Frequently Asked Questions

We are open Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 5.30pm (Summer). 8.15am to 5.00pm (Winter)


We offer subscription based dog daycare  More information can be found via the Collar app.  Pricing can be found here. Boarding service is offered via our partner company, Goatsmoor Lodge (see below).


In our privately owned 1-acre paddock, surrounded by open fields and nature, your dog will have plenty to keep them active throughout the day. They can enjoy climbing tyres, balance planks as well as exploring our mini woodland, perfect for sniffing and exploring When it's time to unwind, we offer a cozy indoor space with sofa's and crates where they can rest in comfort.


You will first need to create an account via the Collar app and answer all questions within our pet information form. Once this has been checked by us, we will then arrange a 2 hour free trial, that being successful, you will then be able to select the service you require. We require a commitment of at least 1 day per week. We kindly ask you to stick to your chosen day to enable consistency and routine for your dog. If you you do need to reschedule for any reason - days can be changed upto 48 hours prior.


Our gates automatically open in the morning at 8.15am and close at 9.30am and in the evening from 4.30pm - 5.30pm. (3.30pm - 5.00pm in winter). We kindly ask you to drop off and pick up during gate opening times. Our daycare guest's are part of planned schedule of activities, engaging as a pack. Any disruptions to this can lead to upset among the dogs. If you do need access out of gate opening times, please let us know well in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.


Yes - subject to availability, this can be requested via the Collar app under "Additional Daycare"


Yes - subject to availability via the Collar app up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled day. If within 48 hours, please contact us direct and we will do our best to accommodate. If using our transportation service, please note that reschedules may not be possible due to lack of room in our van - but we will do our very best to accommodate. If you would like to change your current day(s) permanently, please request via: info@stockdogs.co.uk


Yes, but due to limited availability all are non-refundable, so please ensure that you are certain in your need for care. In such event we suggest rescheduling your weekly booking to another day within your billing month. No refunds or credits will be given if booked days are missed.


Yes - subject to availability. Please use the the Collar app to book either pick up or drop off or both. We can also add this permanently to your current subscription if required.


Our pick up service operates from 8.30am - 9.30am in the morning and from 4.30pm to 5.30pm (4.00pm to 5.00pm Winter) in the evenings.


We kindly ask that all dogs being picked up are ready to go with their collars/harnesses on, along with any coats or Equafleeces. Delays with even one pick-up disrupt the morning schedule, potentially extending travel time for other dogs.


Yes - We are happy to hold door keys and let ourself in should you not be in when we arrive to pick up your dog. Additionally, we are happy to hold key codes for which we are both insured for.


Our memberships are calculated using 48 weeks of the year instead of 52. This allows for your personal holidays and in the unfortunate event that your dog is absent due to injury or illness throughout the year. No refunds or credits will be given for missed days.


Yes - please make sure all food is in a tupperware container (or similar), clearly marked with your dogs name. 


Every dog has its own personality and traits, and during our 2-hour trial sessions, we closely monitor each dog to ensure that our daycare environment is a good fit for them. While we consider all breeds based on their individual characteristics, please note that space for larger breeds is limited, and we do not accept banned breeds.


When dogs play outside they can get a bit messy! We always do our best to clean them down before they go home, but please be aware that some dirt or/and dampness may still be present, this is why we strongly advise a full-coverage dog suit such as an "Equafleece".


Yes - but boarding is exclusively for our daycare members only and is subject to T&C's, availability  and eligibility. Boarding is provided independently by our partner company, Goatsmoor Lodge, a licensed and fully insured facility.


All booking requests are passed to Goatsmoor Lodge, who handle confirmations and invoicing directly. General enquires should be sent to bookings@goatsmoorlodge.co.uk

 

Please note - Dogs must have attended Stock Dogs daycare for a minimum of 3 months before being considered for boarding
